Madhouse Press is currently open for submissions through the Editor's Prize. 

Madhouse Press Editor's Prize 2020  Open May 15-August 1

Each Spring, Madhouse Press opens for our annual Editor's Prize, an award given to one chapbook length manuscript. The winner receives publication ( a print run of 100 letterpressed, hand bound, chapbooks) and 15 author's copies. 

We are seek innovative chapbooks that challenge, provoke, and investigate societal norms, accepted convictions, trauma and violence. Entries from both emerging and established authors are welcome and accepted. ​​

Please include your last name and "Chapbook Submission" in the subject line.

Specifics:

* manuscripts should include a title page that includes your first and last name, phone number and email      address. 

* manuscripts should be between 13-30 pages

*your $7 entry fee entitles you to one title in our current catalogue. Please include your book choice and mailing address in your cover letter.
